Suitcasing is the act of soliciting business by non-exhibiting companies during the event or in other public spaces, including another company's booth, a convention center, or a hotel lobby.
It is ICBA event management’s objective to do everything legally possible to protect its exhibitors and community banker attendees from suitcasing.
While all meeting attendees are invited to the expo, ICBA will ask any attendee who is observed to be soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, in another company’s booth, or in violation of any portion of the Exhibit Policies to leave.
This is for both approved exhibitors, non-exhibit personnel, and any companies who are registered to attend ICBA LIVE. Outright solicitation of our attendees’ business outside of an exhibit booth is not condoned. ICBA may apply additional penalties.
If you have any questions or concerns about the policy, speak to ICBA staff at the registration desk.
They are receptions hosted by various state partner receptions. Attendance is by invitation only.
You need separately purchased registration/tickets to attend the Bank Director Current Issues Seminar or ICBA PAC Auction. Exhibitors must purchase a ticket to A Night to Celebrate.
Auction participation is limited by Federal Election Commission (FEC) regulations to dues-paying ICBA members, associates and their immediate family members in the same household. See full ICBA PAC eligibility requirements.
Each booth is a 10x10 space with one (1) 6’ table with white draping and two (2) side chairs. It also includes a listing and company description both online in the Exp Directory and the ICBA Mobile App, a pre-show list of attendees(does not include phone or email); three (3) hall passes and one (1) complimentary registration.
No. You must rent carpet for your booth through the GES Services Kit if you do not have your own.
Because the exhibit is technically a construction zone during booth set-up, no child under 18 will be allowed in the exhibit hall during this time.
If you think you might be late getting to the show to set-up, please contact Katie.Gottwald@icba.org to request an After-Hours Pass. A copy of this pass will be sent to you as well as given to security to allow you access to the hall.
We ask that exhibitors be in their booth at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the hall opening. Your exhibitor badge will allow you access to the hall.
Your exhibitor badge will be necessary to get you into the hall. We will have security and they will be checking.

Yes, there will be security both outside (checking badges) as well as inside the hall when the hall is closed. However, ICBA strongly recommends that all valuables (e.g., laptop computers, cellular phones, etc.) be removed from your booth at the conclusion of each exhibit session. ICBA and the Opryland are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
Note: Leaving valuable items in your booth is done so at your own risk.
There will be a breakfast sampler on Wednesday morning and lunch on Wednesday afternoon. Exhibitors are welcome to take part, but we ask that bankers be allowed to go through the lines first.
Yes, however, we encourage all shipments be sent to GES’ advance warehouse in order to ensure timely set-up of your booth.
Exhibitors should arrange for outgoing shipments during the show or immediately after its close. GES will assist in the preparation of bills of lading. Where an exhibitor indicates choice of carrier for pickup, it is the exhibitor’s responsibility to arrange with such carrier for said pickup service.
If the carrier does not pick up within the time limited for the removal of exhibitor’s materials at the Exhibit Hall, GES reserves the right to forward such material by the shipping method of their choice or to remove said material to their warehouse for disposition, at an additional charge to the exhibitor in accordance with prevailing rates for the service performed.
Yes, a list of bankers attending the convention along with their mailing address will be emailed to you approximately three weeks prior to the convention for promotional purposes. Please note that due to contractual stipulations with our members, ICBA cannot provide the phone, fax, or email addresses.
IMPORTANT: ICBA does not share this information with outside companies. If you receive an email asking if you wish to purchase a registration, disregard. These lists are fraudulent.

This is an event hosted by ICBA for exhibitors only. It’s a chance for exhibitors to relax, enjoy a drink, grab a bite to eat, and register for prizes (must be present to win). It’s ICBA’s way of saying thank you for participating at the Expo, and is open to all exhibitor personnel (full registrants and hall passes).
Exhibitors that are dues-paying Corporate Associate Members receiving member benefits from ICBA are eligible to purchase an auction ticket. This ticket purchase is a contribution made with personal funds to ICBA PAC and subject to FEC guidelines. For questions or clarity, please contact ICBA PAC staff at ibcapac@icba.org.
